Sign Design GB have extensive knowledge of illuminated building signage and have designed, manufactured and installed products for some of the biggest and best know brands in the country, hence we were a natural choice for this clients requirements.

Having assessed the cladding on the building and the structural steel arrangement to ascertain what weight loading would be acceptable once wind-loading had been considered, we set about designing and manufacturing a suitable solution whilst being mindful of the aesthetics of the finished product. A fabricated 3 D design set onto building rails was the answer in a lightweight box format. The boxing was powder-coated to match the buildings cladding and therefore maintain the aesthetics required by the client whilst the 3 D letters and logo would be finished in a contrasting colour to ensure maximum impact from the signage.

Once the box section and letters had been powder coated and assembled, we installed Cool White LED’s in the reverse of the letters to give a halo illuminated glow during darker hours. These were designed, manufactured and installed by our in-house team along with the appropriate drivers to ensure the correct level of illumination throughout the entire sign.

The finished product provides a striking effect and has achieved the exact look and feel that the client required, whilst adhering to their visual branding requirements. The building mounted box section is a low maintenance item that performs well and allows the letters and logo to stand out. The main sign was combined with several other illuminated signs around the building which has undoubtedly lifted the presence of the brand on the industrial estate and the wider area.
